Last Updated:Jun 17, 2024

This topic describes the billable items and billing methods of Edge Node Service (ENS).

Billable items and billing methods

An ENS instance includes computing resources, such as vCPUs and memory, and storage resources, such as cloud disks. The following table describes the billable items of ENS.

Description

Billing rule

Computing resources

The computing resources you can obtain are determined by the instance type. Each instance type offers a unique combination of vCPUs, memory, and related capabilities, which determine the price of the instance.

Instance types

Storage resources

  • Cloud disks: After you create a cloud disk, you are charged based on the capacity and usage duration of the cloud disk.

  • Edge Object Storage (EOS): You are charged based on the actual storage usage of EOS.

  • NAS: You are charged based on the actual storage usage of NAS.

Storage resources

Public bandwidth

You are charged for ENS bandwidth based on nodes.

  • If a static public IP address is assigned to an ENS instance when you create the instance, the public IP address is used to access the Internet. You are charged for the public bandwidth.

  • If an ENS instance is associated with an EIP, the ENS instance can access the Internet by using the EIP. You are charged for the configuration of the EIP and the public bandwidth of the EIP.

ELB

When you use the Edge Load Balancer (ELB) feature, you are charged for ELB instances that you created based on instance types.
