Edge Load Balancer (ELB) instances are private network instances. To make an ELB instance accessible over the public network, you must associate an Elastic IP Address (EIP) with the instance. After the EIP is associated, the ELB instance can forward requests from the public network.
Prerequisites
An EIP is created. For instructions, see Create and manage edge EIPs.
Usage notes
Before you associate an EIP with an ELB instance, consider the following:
Service interruption — If the ELB instance is handling private network service traffic when you associate the EIP, a transient disconnection occurs. Associate the EIP during off-peak hours, or switch your service to another ELB instance before you proceed.
Billing — Data transfer costs are charged for the edge EIP if you associate a public EIP with an ELB instance. For pricing information, see EIP billing.
Procedure
Log on to theENS console。
In the left-side navigation pane, choose Edge Load Balancer > CLB.
On the ELB Instance management page, find the target ELB instance. In the Actions column, click
> Associate Public IP Address.On the Associate Public IP Address page, select the target EIP.
Click OK to complete the association.
