Edge elastic IP addresses (EIPs) are static public IP addresses allocated to a specific edge node in Edge Node Service (ENS). Use edge EIPs to assign stable public IP addresses to ENS resources for inbound and outbound internet connectivity.
Create an edge EIP
Log on to the ENS console.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose Network Management > Edge EIPs.
Click Create Instance.
On the Edge EIP page, configure the following parameters.
You can select multiple edge nodes in a single creation session to create EIPs on several nodes at the same time.
Parameter Description Billing Method Only Pay-as-you-go is supported. Instance Name A name for the edge EIP. Region > Node The edge node on which to create the EIP. Region > Quantity The number of edge EIPs to create on the selected node. Region > Billing Method Only pay-by-95th-percentile is supported. Region > Bandwidth The peak bandwidth for the edge EIP. Read the ENS Terms of Service, select the checkbox, and click Confirm.
Disassociate an edge EIP
Before disassociating an edge EIP, make sure it is not referenced in any cloud resource configuration. If a cloud resource is still using the EIP, remove that configuration first, then disassociate the EIP.
Log on to the ENS console.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose Network Management > Edge EIPs.
Find the EIP you want to disassociate, and click Unbind in the Actions column.
In the dialog box, click OK.
Release an edge EIP
Make sure the edge EIP is not associated with any cloud resource before releasing it. If needed, disassociate the EIP first.
Log on to the ENS console.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose Network Management > Edge EIPs.
Find the edge EIP you want to release, and click Release in the Actions column.
In the dialog box, click OK.
