Convert a specific queue in your workspace from pay-as-you-go to subscription billing. For queues with consistent, long-term resource usage, subscription offers lower unit prices than the pay-as-you-go model.
Prerequisites
The workspace to be converted must meet the following conditions:

The workspace is in the Running state.

The billing method for the workspace is Pay-as-you-go.

The workspace must have no overdue payments and must not be expired.

The workspace must have no unpaid conversion orders.

The subscription queue quota after conversion must be at least 25 Compute Units (CU).
Considerations
If a workspace has an unpaid conversion order, you cannot modify its queues or quotas. You must either pay for the order or cancel it before making any changes.
Procedure

Go to the EMR Serverless Spark workspace page.

Log on to the E-MapReduce console.

In the left-side navigation pane, choose EMR Serverless > Spark.

On the Spark page, in the Actions column for the target workspace, click
> Convert CU Quota to Subscription. In the dialog box, configure the following parameters.Parameter
Description
Scope
Select the queue to convert. After conversion, the queue's billing method changes to subscription.
Subscription duration
The minimum subscription duration is one month, with fees calculated in monthly increments.
Auto-renewal
Enabled by default. To manually renew or disable auto-renewal, see Renewal instructions.

After confirming the configuration and fees, click OK and complete the payment.

(Optional) After the conversion, you can adjust the queue quota allocation as needed. For more information, see Manage resource queues.
