When your subscription expires, jobs submitted to subscription-based queues in the workspace stop running. To continue using the service, you must renew your subscription quota promptly.
Notes
If your account has an overdue payment, you can still use your existing subscription quotas. However, you cannot perform operations that incur fees, such as purchasing new subscription quotas or renewing existing ones.
Manual renewal
Follow these steps to renew a subscription quota.

Go to the EMR Serverless Spark workspace page.

Log on to the E-MapReduce console.

In the left-side navigation pane, choose EMR Serverless > Spark.

On the Spark page, find the target workspace and click
> Renew in the Actions column.On the EMR Serverless Spark Reserved Resources | Renew page, select a Subscription Duration and click Buy Now.
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the purchase.
Enable auto-renewal
You can enable Auto-renewal for a workspace in two ways:
Create workspace page
When you purchase a subscription workspace, select Auto-renewal on the E-MapReduce Serverless Spark page.
Renewal management page
Log on to the E-MapReduce console.
In the top navigation bar, choose .
On the Resource Renewal page, filter the workspaces by expiration date range, product, and region.
On the Manual Renewal tab, find the target workspace and click Enable Auto-renewal in the Actions column. Select an Auto-renewal Period, confirm your settings, then click Enable Auto-renewal.
By default, the system automatically renews resources 9 days before they expire. You can change this setting by clicking Set Auto-renewal Amount Deduction Date in the upper-right corner of the Resource Renewal page. The minimum auto-renewal period is 3 days before expiration.

Cancel auto-renewal
If you no longer want to automatically renew a subscription quota, you can cancel auto-renewal at any time after enabling it. Alibaba Cloud initiates the renewal payment at 08:00 on the day that is 9 days (the default setting) before the workspace expires. If the payment fails, Alibaba Cloud retries once a day until the payment succeeds or until 1 day before expiration. To avoid an unwanted renewal, cancel auto-renewal before the payment is processed.
If you've defined a custom auto-renewal deduction date, this will overwrite the default setting of 9 days.
Log on to the E-MapReduce console.
In the top navigation bar, choose .
On the Resource Renewal page, filter the workspaces by expiration date range, product, and region.
On the Auto-renewal tab, use one of the following methods to cancel the renewal.
Do not renew: In the Actions column, click Nonrenewal, then click OK.
Switch to manual renewal: In the Actions column, click Enable Manual Renewal, then click OK.
