Data Platform in the old EMR console will reach the end of full support at 00:00 on September 30, 2023 (UTC+8). Services, such as answering questions, resolving issues, and handling service level agreement (SLA) guarantee compensation, are no longer provided. From 00:00 on December 30, 2024 (UTC+8), Data Platform in the old EMR console will be discontinued in phases by region. If you still use Data Platform in the old EMR console to develop data, migrate jobs and workflows for data development from Data Platform to EMR Workflow at the earliest opportunity. This topic describes the impacts of the end of full support for Data Platform and describes how to migrate data from Data Platform to EMR Workflow.

Impacts
The projects that you created before this point in time are not affected. You can continue to use Data Platform in the old EMR console to run jobs or schedule workflows in the projects. However, services, such as answering questions, resolving issues, and handling SLA guarantee compensation, are no longer provided. If you want to continue running jobs or scheduling workflows in EMR, we recommend that you migrate data from Data Platform to EMR Workflow.

EMR Workflow provides easy-to-use scheduling services. You can manage workflows and tasks with ease based on a visualized operation interface and efficiently build data warehouses. This ensures that production tasks can be run stably.

Migration process
You can export workflows and jobs in Data Platform in the old EMR console with ease. Then, you can use the import feature of EMR Workflow to import the workflows and jobs to implement efficient data migration.
