Adjust the maximum bandwidth of an elastic IP address (EIP) to accommodate service changes.
Upgrade or downgrade the EIP bandwidth
You can change the maximum bandwidth of a subscription EIP.

You can only upgrade the maximum bandwidth of a subscription EIP. Downgrades are not supported. To downgrade the bandwidth of a subscription EIP, use one of the following methods:
| The change takes effect immediately after you complete the payment. | After you submit the order, you must pay the price difference for the remaining duration of the current billing cycle. | Upgrade or downgrade the bandwidth if the current maximum bandwidth of the EIP does not meet your service requirements. |
Navigate to the Elastic IP Addresses console. In the top navigation bar, select the region where the EIP is deployed.
Find the EIP that you want to manage. In the Bandwidth column, click Modify Configuration. Set a new bandwidth value, click Buy Now, then complete the payment.
Renewal with specification change
Subscription EIPs support renewal with specification changes: you can change the maximum bandwidth of an EIP when you renew the EIP.

If you have unpaid orders for the EIP, you must pay for or cancel the orders before you can renew the EIP with a specification change. | You can change the maximum bandwidth of an EIP when you renew the EIP. Navigate to the Elastic IP Addresses console. In the top navigation bar, select the region where the EIP is deployed.
Find the EIP that you want to manage. In the Actions column, choose . Set Duration and Bandwidth. Then, click Buy Now and complete the payment.
Cancel a pending renewal order with a specification change

You can cancel only pending renewal orders with a specification change, but not orders that have already taken effect. Important This operation cannot be undone. Navigate to the Elastic IP Addresses console. In the top navigation bar, select the region where the EIP is deployed.
Find the EIP for which you want to cancel the order. In the Actions column, choose .
