ID Verification - KYC (Global) is an enhancement of ID Verification - KYC. KYC is short for Know Your Customer. ID Verification - KYC (Global) supports more document types and advanced anti-counterfeiting detection for document optical character recognition (OCR). This topic describes the differences between ID Verification - KYC (Global) and ID Verification - KYC. You can select one based on your business requirements.

If you want to use ID Verification - KYC (Global), you can activate it on the ID Verification page. Then, select the pay-as-you-go billing method or purchase a data transfer plan. The system supports world passports and identity documents of people in the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong (China), Macao (China), and Taiwan (China).

eKYC verification: The solution covers a complete electronic KYC (eKYC) process for identity verification, including document OCR, biometric data collection, and comparison between document images and customer faces.

Face liveness verification: The system checks whether a customer is a natural and live person. The system also checks whether a customer is the same as a recorded person in an existing system by comparing the customer face with a face image that is stored in local databases. This solution is suitable for secondary verification.
