Number of successful queries: You are charged for a service call when the response indicates a successful query. A successful query returns a business result of either a match (BizCode=1) or a mismatch (BizCode=2). You are not charged if the query finds no matching record (BizCode=3).
If you do not complete all required steps in an authentication plan, the attempt is not counted as a call.
To simplify bill reconciliation, save the TransactionId field that is returned after you call the Initialize API operation. This field contains billing information. For more information about calling ID Verification API operations, see the Developer Guide.
Settlement cycle
ID Verification settles usage on a daily basis. Bills are generated and settled daily.
Each day, ID Verification generates a bill based on your usage from the previous day and deducts the billed amount from your Alibaba Cloud account. If you have purchased a data transfer plan, the usage is first deducted from the plan. Any overage is then charged to your account.
Billing cycle
ID Verification generates a bill each day based on your usage from the previous day. Bills are typically available within 10 to 12 hours after the end of each day. If your account balance is insufficient to cover the bill, an overdue payment is recorded for your account.
You can view your past bills in the Alibaba Cloud User Center.
Due to billing delays, your monthly ID Verification bill in the User Center might include charges from the last day of the previous month. For example, the bill for January 2023 might cover usage from December 31, 2022, to January 30, 2023.
Overdue payments
If your account has an overdue payment, your ID Verification service is suspended. To resume the service, add funds to your account to pay the outstanding bill.
