Elastic IP Address (EIP) works with Network Intelligence Service (NIS). You can view inbound and outbound EIP traffic statistics and rankings in 2-tuples and 5-tuples by using the traffic analysis feature of NIS. The data transfer details and metrics can help you troubleshoot relevant issues.
Prerequisites
An EIP is created and the EIP is associated with a cloud resource. For more information, see Apply for an EIP and Associate an EIP with a cloud resource.
Procedure
- Log on to the Elastic IP Address console .
- In the top navigation bar, select the region where the EIP is created.
On the Elastic IP Addresses page, find the EIP that you want to manage and click the ID of the EIP.
On the details page, click
.If Internet traffic analysis is not enabled in the current region, follow the on-screen instructions to enable the feature and click OK.
On the Traffic Activation Management page, find the region where you want to enable the Internet traffic analysis feature, select Activate by Region or Activate by IP in the Switch column, and then click Update Status of Network Monitoring. Then, view the Internet data transfer data that is related to the regions or IP addresses for which this feature is enabled.
If you select Activate by IP, you can select an EIP based on your requirements.
If you want to disable the Internet traffic analysis feature for a region, click Deactivate in the Switch column of the region.
