Enterprise Distributed Application Service:Manage alerts in a DingTalk group

Last Updated:Mar 11, 2026

When application alerts fire, your team needs to triage and resolve them fast. Enterprise Distributed Application Service (EDAS) delivers alert notifications directly to DingTalk groups, so you can act on alerts without switching tools.

From an alert card in DingTalk, you can:

  • View alert severity, status, and the triggering object

  • Claim alerts and track them through resolution

  • Review event history and activity logs

  • Monitor 7-day alert trends and resolution metrics

Link your phone number (first-time setup)

Before you can interact with alerts, bind your mobile phone number to your DingTalk account. This is a one-time step.

  1. Click View details on any alert card in the DingTalk group.

  2. In the Binding mobile phone number dialog box, enter your mobile phone number and click Send the Verify code.

  3. Enter the verification code and click OK.

Note

If your mobile phone number matches an existing contact, that contact is automatically linked to your DingTalk account. After linking, DingTalk @mentions your account when an alert notification arrives in a group you belong to. For more information, see Associate a contact with a DingTalk account.

Inspect alert details

The alert detail view contains three tabs: Details, Event, and Activity.

Details tab

The Details tab shows:

  • Alert name, severity, and status

  • Notification content and recipient

  • The user handling the alert

  • The object that triggered the alert

To assign a handler or change severity, click Settings in the upper-right corner. Specify a DingTalk account in the group to set the associated contact as the handler, or change the alert severity. This option is available only for unclaimed alerts.

Event tab

The Event tab lists the alert events that triggered the alert and each event's status.

Click an event to view its basic information, monitoring data, and extended fields.

Activity tab

The Activity tab shows notification records and handling records for the alert.

To find a specific record, click Filter and select Log content or Log object as the filter parameter. Enter a keyword and press ENTER to search.

View alert statistics

The Statistics page shows metrics for alerts sent to the current DingTalk group:

  • Total alerts for the current day

  • Alert trend over the past 7 days

  • Average alert resolution time over the past 7 days

  • Per-user handling statistics

Select a data point in the Alert trend chart for the past 7 days or Trend chart of average Alert resolution time in the past 7 days chart to see the exact value at that point.

Click Return to Home to go back to the homepage.

Search and filter alerts on the homepage

The homepage lists all alerts sent to the current DingTalk group.
