Enterprise Distributed Application Service:Create and manage a WeCom chatbot

Last Updated:Mar 11, 2026

After you create a WeCom chatbot in the alert management module in the Enterprise Distributed Application Service (EDAS) console, you can specify the required WeCom group to receive alert notifications in a notification policy. When a dispatch rule in a notification policy is triggered, EDAS delivers the alert to the specified WeCom group automatically.

Once the notification arrives, team members can view and manage the alert directly in the WeCom group chat.

Prerequisites

  • A WeCom group created on the WeCom client

Step 1: Get the webhook URL from WeCom

  1. Open and sign in to the WeCom client.

  2. In the upper-right corner of the target WeCom group, click the More icon icon, then click Add Chatbot.

  3. On the Add Chatbot page, click Create Chatbot.

  4. Enter a name for the chatbot and click Create.

  5. Click Copy URL and save the webhook URL. You need it in the next step.

Step 2: Create the chatbot in the EDAS console

  1. Log on to the EDAS console.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Application Management > Applications.

  3. In the top navigation bar of the Applications page, select a region. From the Microservices Namespace drop-down list, select a microservices namespace. From the Cluster Type drop-down list, select ECS Clusters. Then, click the name of the application that you want to manage.

  4. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Alert Management > Contact.

  5. On the DingTalk/Lark/WeCom tab, click WeCom.

  6. In the Create WeCom Chatbot panel, configure the following parameters and click OK.

    Parameter

    Description

    Name

A custom name for the chatbot.

    Chatbot Webhook URL

The webhook URL copied from the WeCom client.

Whether the Chatbot Sends Daily Statistics

Select the check box to receive a daily summary of alerts. If selected, configure the Sending Time of Daily Statistics parameter.

    Sending Time of Daily Statistics

One or more time points in HH:SS format, separated by commas. At each specified time, EDAS sends the total number of generated alerts, solved alerts, and alerts to be solved on the current day to the WeCom group.

Manage alerts in the WeCom group

When an alert notification arrives in the WeCom group, team members can view and handle the alert directly in the group chat. For more information, see Handle alerts in a group chat.
