After you add tags to resources, you can use one of the following methods to quickly
search for resources. Exact match and fuzzy search are supported.
Search for resources on the Tags page
- Log on to the ECS console.
- In the left-side navigation pane, click Tags.
- In the top navigation bar, select a region.
- On the Custom Tags tab, find a tag, such as ECS:Documentation.
Note In the ECS:Documentation tag, the tag key is ECS and the tag value is Documentation.
- In the Actions column corresponding to the ECS:Documentation tag, click View Resources or View Monitoring Details.
- On the Resources tab, you can view resources of the selected type to which the tag is added. You can
also click a specific resource ID to go to the resource details page.

- On the Monitoring tab, you can view information such as CPU utilization, memory usage, and system load.

Search for resources on the Resources tab
In the Elastic Compute Service (ECS) console, pages of instances, disks, snapshots,
images, security groups, and elastic network interfaces (ENIs) allow you to set tags
to search for these resources. For example, you can complete the following steps to
search for ECS instances:
- Log on to the ECS console.
- In the left-side navigation pane, choose .
- In the top navigation bar, select a region.
- On the Instances page, click Tags and then select a tag key and a tag value.
If you select
All Values for the tag value, all ECS instances to which the selected tag key is added are displayed.
