Elastic Compute Service:Batch manage instances from the ECS console

Last Updated:May 15, 2026

Select multiple instances on the Instance page and apply a single action — such as starting, stopping, or upgrading — to all of them.

Instance page vs. OOS

The Instance page supports batch operations on ECS instances in a single region. For cross-account, cross-region, or scheduled scenarios, use CloudOps Orchestration Service (OOS).
