Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) public images provided by Alibaba Cloud are Alibaba Cloud Marketplace images that can be purchased in the Elastic Compute Service (ECS) console. You can visit the product pages of the following Alibaba Cloud Marketplace images for different RHEL versions to obtain release information about the images, such as the supported regions, prices, and user guides.
When you create instances, images for different RHEL versions are available only if you select an instance type from an instance family that is certified on RHEL. For information about instance families that are certified on RHEL, see Instance families supported by Red Hat images.

After June 30, 2024, RHEL 7 transitioned from the Maintenance Support phase to the Extended Life phase. In the Extended Life phase, Red Hat no longer provides bug fixes, security fixes, hardware enablement, or root cause analyses for RHEL 7. Red Hat provides support only for existing installations. We recommend that you take action to continue receiving software updates and security patches for instances that run RHEL 7 and mitigate the impacts of the end of the Maintenance Support phase.
