Domain Names:Register an Alibaba Cloud account at the Alibaba Cloud international site (alibabacloud.com)

Before you begin

Before you register an Alibaba Cloud account at the Alibaba Cloud international site, you must prepare a mobile phone number that belongs to a country or region outside the Chinese mainland and keep the mobile phone number active. The mobile phone number is used to receive verification notifications for account registration.

Procedure

1. Visit the Alibaba Cloud international site.

2. In the top navigation bar of the homepage, choose Products > Enterprise Services & Cloud Communication > Domain Names.

3. In the top navigation bar, click Log In. You can log on to the Alibaba Cloud international site by using the following two methods.

   Note

   If you have an Alibaba Cloud account at the Alibaba Cloud international site, you can enter your account name and password to log on to the site and purchase items.

   Method 1: Register an Alibaba Cloud account at the Alibaba Cloud international site

   1. Click Sign Up Now.

   2. On the page that appears, select an account type based on your business requirements and click Next. You can select Business Account or Individual Account. In this example, Individual Account is selected.

   3. Enter an email address and its password, confirm the password, and then click Sign Up (Step 1 of 2).

   4. Use the prepared mobile phone number or an email address to complete verification and click Sign Up (Step 2 of 2).

   Method 2: Register a Google account

   1. Visit the Google official website. In the upper-right corner of the Google official website, click Sign in.

   2. In the lower part of the page that appears, click Create account and select For my personal use, For my child, or For work or my business.

      1. Select a language in the lower-left corner, enter your account information, and then click Next.

      2. Enter your basic information and click Next.

      3. Select an email address recommended by the system or enter a custom email address, and click Next. Enter a password, confirm the password, and then click Next.

      4. Enter a mobile phone number and click Next. Then, enter the verification code and click Next.

      5. Optional: Add a recovery email account and click Next. You can also click Skip.

      6. View your account information and click Next.

      7. Read the privacy and terms, and click I agree.

      8. In the dialog box that appears, Click Confirm.

   3. On the Alibaba Cloud account logon page, click Sign in with Google.

   4. Select a country or district, enter a password, confirm the password, read and agree to the agreement, and then click Sign Up.

      Important

      Your mobile phone number must be verified in the next step. Therefore, you must select the country or district to which your mobile phone number belongs.

   5. Verify your mobile phone number, select Alibaba Cloud may use your information to contact you about updates and special offers. You can unsubscribe at any time., and then click OK.
