This topic describes how to report a domain name or website that infringes on intellectual property rights or contains abusive content to the Alibaba Cloud Reporting Center.
When filing a report, you must ensure that all submitted materials are legitimate, complete, and free of malicious content. Alibaba Cloud will reject any report that includes such content.
Report intellectual property infringement
If you believe a domain name or website infringes on your intellectual property rights, go to the Alibaba Cloud Report Center, select Report Infringement, and submit the required information. Your report must include a detailed description of the infringement, citation of relevant laws and regulations, and verifiable proof of ownership (such as trademark or copyright registration). If the supporting materials are incomplete or do not meet the requirements, Alibaba Cloud will reject your report without further notice.
After your report is submitted and accepted, Alibaba Cloud will forward it to the reported party within five business days. If the reported party responds, Alibaba Cloud will promptly forward their response to you. You can log on to the Alibaba Cloud Reporting Center to check the status of your report.
If the reported product or service is suspended during the investigation, Alibaba Cloud will close the case, as the reported issue has been resolved.
Report abusive content
To report a domain name or website that contains abusive content, you can use one of the following methods:
Method 1: Send an abuse report directly by email to: domainabuse@service.aliyun.com.
Method 2: File a report through Alibaba Cloud Reporting Center.
Go to the Alibaba Cloud Reporting Center and click I want to report in the Illegal Information Reporting section. On the Illegal Information Reporting page, fill out the form and upload valid supporting evidence. If the evidence does not meet the requirements, Alibaba Cloud will reject your report without further notification.
After your report is submitted and accepted, Alibaba Cloud will forward it to the reported party within five business days. If the reported party responds, Alibaba Cloud will promptly forward their response to you. You can log on to the Alibaba Cloud Reporting Center to check the status of your report.
