If a domain name or website is involved in infringement or contains illegal and harmful information, follow the instructions in this topic to file a report with the Alibaba Cloud Reporting Center and protect your legal rights.
When you submit a report to Alibaba Cloud, ensure that you upload only legitimate supporting files. If a file is detected as malicious, Alibaba Cloud will not open any suspicious files or emails or process your report.
Report intellectual property infringement
To report infringement involving a domain name or website, go to the Alibaba Cloud Reporting Center and select Infringement Reporting. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the form and provide valid proof of infringement, including the specific laws and regulations allegedly violated and relevant supporting materials. If the provided materials do not meet the requirements, Alibaba Cloud will not accept the report or send any further notification.

After your report is accepted, Alibaba Cloud forwards the report to the reported party within 5 business days. If the reported party responds, Alibaba Cloud will promptly forward the response to you. You can log in to the Alibaba Cloud Reporting Center to check the status of your report.

If the reported product or service is suspended during the investigation, Alibaba Cloud will close the case.
Report illegal and harmful information
If a domain name or website contains illegal and harmful information, use one of the following methods to report it:

Method 1: Email the abuse report directly to domainabuse@service.aliyun.com.

Method 2: Submit a report through the Alibaba Cloud Reporting Center.
Go to the Alibaba Cloud Reporting Center, select Illegal Information Reporting, and follow the on-screen instructions to provide valid proof of domain name abuse. If the materials you provide do not meet the requirements, Alibaba Cloud will not accept the report or send any further notification.

Receiving a domain name abuse notification email
If you receive a domain name abuse notification email forwarded by Alibaba Cloud, this is a third-party message that Alibaba Cloud, acting as the registrar, is required to forward under the ICANN Registration Data Policy. Alibaba Cloud is responsible only for forwarding the email, not for its content.
