Domain name registration
A domain name cannot be registered if:
To let a RAM user register or renew a domain name in the console or by using an API, you must configure the required permissions.

The domain name is subject to litigation, arbitration, or penalties.

The domain name is reserved by the domain name registry.

The domain name contains sensitive terms prohibited by regulatory policies. Follow the naming rules for domain names when choosing a prefix.

Domain names that already have an ICP filing number cannot be registered.

Some top-level domains (such as .org) have not been licensed by the domain name registry authority. Alibaba Cloud cannot provide registration, renewal, or other services for such domain names.
ICP filing
The Alibaba Cloud international site (alibabacloud.com) uses domain registrars outside the Chinese mainland, so domain names registered on the international site are not eligible for ICP filing. To deploy services in the Chinese mainland, register the domain name on the Alibaba Cloud China site (aliyun.com) and complete the ICP filing. Otherwise, your services may be inaccessible from the Chinese mainland.
