The price of a Data Transfer Plan varies based on its validity period and size.
A Data Transfer Plan is a resource plan that automatically offsets data transfer fees for multiple services, such as pay-by-data-transfer Elastic Compute Service (ECS), Elastic IP Address (EIP), Classic Load Balancer (CLB), and Internet Shared Bandwidth (Data transfer for BGP (Multi-ISP) Pro EIPs and Internet Shared Bandwidth is not covered). The plan offsets fees until it is used up or expires. For details about supported services, see Supported services and data transfer types.
After you purchase a Data Transfer Plan, it takes effect immediately and automatically offsets eligible data transfer fees. No additional configuration is required. Due to a delay in bill generation, your current bill might show pay-by-data-transfer charges. The updated bill will reflect the offset.
You cannot unsubscribe from a Data Transfer Plan.
Specifications of Data Transfer Plans
Data Transfer Plans are available with a validity period of 1 month or 1 year. Data Transfer Plans are not refundable. Unused capacity is cleared and cannot be transferred.

Bills and usage
You can view the bills and usage of your Data Transfer Plan in the Expenses and Costs console.
Monthly bill overview
Go to the Expenses and Costs console. In the left-side navigation pane, choose . On the Overview of Monthly Bill page, you can view the total monthly amount for your billing cycle, make payments, and export official PDF bills.
Bill details
Go to the Expenses and Costs console. In the left-side navigation pane, choose . On this page, you can view detailed bills for specific billable items and instances, filtered by month, day, or billing period.
Usage and details
Go to the Expenses and Costs console. In the left-side navigation pane, choose . On this page, you can view usage summary or usage details. Set Resource Type to Resource Plans.
To view usage, click the Instances tab. In the table, click the filter icon (
) next to Product Name and select Data Transfer Plan. Find the target Data Transfer Plan and view its usage in the Total Capacity and Remaining Capacity columns.To view usage details, click the Details tab and filter the results as needed. You can view each deduction record for your Data Transfer Plan, including the deduction time, deducted amount, and associated cloud service instance. If you doubt that the billed data transfer is inconsistent with your server logs, or if your Data Transfer Plan appears to be consumed faster than expected, review the deduction records on this page to verify the specific charges.
You can click the export icon (
) in the upper-right corner of the table to export the data.NoteBill generation can be delayed, which may cause temporary discrepancies in the displayed amounts.
FAQ
Does the Data Transfer Plan support renewal? How is service data transfer billed after plan expiration or exhaustion?
Data Transfer Plan supports setting up auto-renewal for a currently held plan, allowing an identical new plan to be automatically purchased when the current one is about to expire or is nearly used up. For specific instructions, see Set auto-renewal for a Data Transfer Plan. If no auto-renewal rule is set, the current plan simply becomes invalid once it expires or is used up, and you need to manually purchase a new plan on the purchase page.
The first-purchase discount only applies to your initial purchase; the discounted price cannot be applied when repurchasing. Refer to the purchase page for the actual price.
Once all Data Transfer Plans under your account have expired or been used up, the system automatically bills on the pay-as-you-go basis, deducting the actual data transfer fees incurred from your account balance. It is recommended that you set up auto-renewal or keep track of your usage before the plan expires and repurchase in a timely manner, in order to avoid incurring higher charges in the pay-as-you-go model.
