    Data Management:Upgrade service specifications

    This topic describes how to increase the quota for your subscription services.

    Prerequisites

    • You are an Administrator or a DBA (database administrator). For more information, see View your system roles.

    • You have an Alibaba Cloud account or a Resource Access Management (RAM) user that has the AliyunBSSOrderAccess access policy. For more information, see Grant permissions to a RAM user.

    Usage notes

    In Data Management (DMS), each service can have only one subscription order. To increase the quota for a subscription service, you must upgrade the service.

    Procedure

    1. Log in to DMS 5.0.

    2. In the upper-right corner of the page, choose DMS Order Management.

    3. On the Purchase Specification Details page, find the subscription order that you want to upgrade and click Upgrade in the Actions column.

    4. On the Upgrade/Downgrade page, specify the Number of Instances, select the Data Management - New Version (Subscription) Terms of Service checkbox, and then click Buy Now.

      Note

      You can only increase, not decrease, the number of instances for the subscription.
