[Notice] DMS Egress IP Address Change
On April 26, 2023, Data Management DMS will upgrade its network architecture, changing egress IP addresses in some regions. To ensure uninterrupted access to DMS, update the IP whitelists of non-Alibaba Cloud instances and Alibaba Cloud classic network instances managed by DMS before the upgrade.

This upgrade affects IP whitelists for cloud databases, public network databases (non-Alibaba Cloud self-managed databases), and ECS self-managed databases in the following DMS-managed regions: China (Shanghai), China (Qingdao), China (Beijing), China (Zhangjiakou), China (Hohhot), China (Chengdu), China (Shenzhen), China (Guangzhou), China (Hong Kong), Singapore, Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur), Indonesia (Jakarta), Japan (Tokyo), US (Silicon Valley), US (Virginia), UK (London), Germany (Frankfurt), SAU (Riyadh - Partner Region), China (Beijing) Finance Cloud (Invitational Preview), Hangzhou Finance Cloud, and Shanghai Finance Cloud 1. Database instances themselves are not affected.
In Data Management DMS 5.0, filter by Data Assets > Instance Management > Instance Source and Region to identify affected instances.
Update Database Whitelists
Cloud Databases or ECS Self-Managed Databases

Cloud databases: Add the egress IP addresses to the instance whitelist in the corresponding console. Test the connection in DMS to verify.
For ApsaraDB RDS MySQL, follow Set the IP Address Whitelist.

Self-managed database on ECS: Update security group rules to allow the new egress IPs. Test the connection in DMS to verify. Add security group rules.
Public Network Databases
Update firewall or IP restrictions to allow the new egress IPs. Test the connection in DMS to verify.
