Retirement: Legacy task orchestration and data warehouse development

Starting June 30, 2022, the console entry points for the legacy task orchestration features will be phased out. Any unmigrated task flows will be automatically migrated to the new versions.

Background information

The task orchestration features in Data Management Service (DMS) have both legacy and new versions. The new versions provide richer functionality and more stable task scheduling.

Retirement timeline

  • As of 00:00 on May 18, 2022: New task flows can no longer be created in the legacy versions.

  • From 20:00 on June 30, 2022, to 20:00 on July 30, 2022: The console entry points for the legacy task orchestration features will be gradually removed. During this period, remaining task flows will be automatically migrated to the new versions.

  • At 20:00 on July 30, 2022: The legacy task orchestration features will be fully retired. All unmigrated task flows will be automatically migrated to the new versions.

Changes

DMS will no longer support the legacy task orchestration features.

Note

The entry points for the legacy task orchestration features will be removed from the Integration and Development > Data Development page.
