Billing
- Specific database instances are createdbefore November 4, 2021 and managed in Security Collaboration mode. In addition, the security levels of the sensitive data in these database instances are marked. In this case, you can still use the sensitive data protection feature for these database instances free of change for one month. If you continue to use this feature for these database instances, you will be charged based on the pay-as-you-go billing method starting from December 4, 2021.
- The sensitive data protection feature supports the subscription and pay-as-you-go and subscription billing methods. For more information about billing standards, see Pricing.
Operation suggestions for the database instances created before November 4, 2021
- Before December 4, 2021:
- If you no longer need to use the sensitive data protection feature for these database instances, you can disable the feature for them to avoid additional charges. For more information, see Disable the sensitive data protection feature.
- If you need to use the sensitive data protection feature for these database instances, you can purchase a resource plan for sensitive data protection. To do so, perform the following operations: In the top navigation bar of the DMS console, move the pointer over the icon and select DMS Renewal and Upgrade. In the dialog box that appears, click Go to sell to buy to go to the buy page.
- Upon and after December 4, 2021:
- If you no longer need to use the sensitive data protection feature for these database instances, you can disable the feature for them to release the corresponding pay-as-you-go resources.
- If you need to use the sensitive data protection feature for these database instances,
you can purchase a subscription plan for sensitive data protection as needed and release
the corresponding pay-as-you-go resources.
