Billing rules
Minimum billable size
The minimum billable size of each file in Infrequent Access (IA), Archive, and Cold Archive storage is 64 KB:

Files smaller than 64 KB are billed as 64 KB.

Files that are 64 KB or larger are billed based on their actual size.
Minimum storage duration and early deletion fees
The following storage classes have a minimum storage duration:

If a file is deleted or moved to another storage class before the minimum storage duration ends, you are charged for both the time the file was stored and the remaining duration.
For example, IA storage has a minimum storage duration of 30 days. If a file is deleted after 20 days, you are charged for the remaining 10 days:
Remaining duration = 720 hours − 20 × 24 hours = 240 hours
For Archive and Cold Archive storage, you are also charged for the remaining portion of the minimum storage duration.
Fee calculation and examples
Standard storage is billed hourly. Convert the monthly unit price to an hourly unit price to calculate fees:
Hourly unit price (USD/GB/hour) = Monthly unit price (USD/GB/month) ÷ 720
Fee = Billable capacity (GB) × Hourly unit price (USD/GB/hour) × Billing duration (hours)
Calculate the fee for each billing period separately. The total fee is the sum of the fees for all periods.
For example, you use 1,000 GB of Standard LRS in the China (Beijing) region at a unit price of 0.0173 USD/GB/month. If the capacity remains unchanged for 24 consecutive hours, the fee, rounded to the nearest cent, is:
1,000 × 0.0173 ÷ 720 × 24 ≈ 0.58 USD
Data request fees
You are charged for access and management operations on files or objects in the DLF storage layer, including requests made through API calls, SDKs, or the DLF console. Requests are classified as follows:
PUT requests: Operations such as uploading (PUT/POST), copying, listing files (LIST), and deleting.
GET requests: Operations such as reading file content (GET) and querying file attributes (HEAD/ObjectMeta).
Data retrieval requests: To access data in Cold Archive Storage, you must first restore it. Restoration also incurs data retrieval request fees.

N/A indicates that the price combination does not apply. For example, data retrieval requests apply only to Cold Archive storage.
Request fees depend on the region of the request, the storage class to which the operation applies, and the request type. A single query, training job, or file processing task can generate multiple underlying requests. Batch, multipart, and paginated operations are billed based on the number of billable requests, not the number of tasks or files processed.
PUT/GET request fees = Number of billable PUT requests ÷ 10,000 × PUT unit price + Number of billable GET requests ÷ 10,000 × GET unit price. For example, suppose Standard storage in the China (Beijing) region generates 10 million PUT requests and 50 million GET requests. The table lists a unit price of 0.001563 USD per 10,000 requests for both PUT and GET requests. Based on these unit prices, the request fee is:
10,000,000 ÷ 10,000 × 0.001563 + 50,000,000 ÷ 10,000 × 0.001563 = 9.378 USD

Temporary storage fees
When you restore a file from Cold Archive Storage, a temporary copy is created in Standard Storage (LRS) for access. You are charged for this copy until it is automatically deleted at the end of the restoration period.
