You can manually renew or enable auto-renewal for backup schedules to extend the validity periods of subscription backup schedules. Pay-as-you-go backup schedules never expire. You need to only make sure that your Alibaba Cloud account has a sufficient balance.
Impacts
A subscription backup schedule has a validity period. If you do not renew a subscription backup schedule before the end of the validity period, your backup services may be interrupted. For information about impacts on backup services, see Expiration and overdue payments.
We recommend that you enable auto-renewal for your backup schedules or manually renew your backup schedules before the expiration date.
Billing
The fee required to renew a backup schedule is the same as that required to purchase a backup schedule. The specific fee displayed in the console prevails. For more information, see Backup fees.
