DataWorks:View and configure alert resources

The Alert Resource page shows alert resource usage for your account in a specific Region and lets you set daily limits for Alert SMS and phone calls.

Billing

DataWorks provides a monthly free quota for Alert SMS and phone calls based on your DataWorks edition. Alerts within the quota are free. Usage beyond the free quota is charged on a pay-as-you-go basis. For details, see Billing for Alert SMS and phone calls.

View alert resources

  1. Go to the DataWorks console.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Others > Alert Resource.

  3. In the upper-left corner, select the Region where your Workspace is located. The Alert Resource page has two sections:

    • Daily Usage of Alert Resources: Shows the number of Alert SMS and phone calls generated today, broken down by module — Data Integration, Intelligent Monitoring, Data Quality, and Code Review. Switch dates to view usage for a specific day.

    • Alert Resource Usage in Current Month: Shows monthly statistics, including Total Usage in This Month, Free Quota, Used Free Quota, Remaining Free Quota, and Pay-as-you-go Resource Usage. The free quota shown depends on your DataWorks edition. For details, see Billing for Alert SMS and phone calls.

Set daily alert limits

  1. In the Daily Usage of Alert Resources section, click Specify Upper Limits for Alerts in the upper-right corner.

  2. In the Specify Upper Limits for Alerts dialog box, set Daily Maximum Text Messages for Alerting and Daily Maximum Phone Calls for Alerting. Both limits default to Unlimited.

    Important

    The limits apply only to the current Region. Once a limit is reached, you will no longer receive Alert SMS or phone calls.

  3. Click Confirm.
