Add a periodic notification

On the Alert Settings page, you can select a notification dimension for unresolved governance issues and add a periodic notification.

  1. Select a notification dimension for unresolved governance issues.

You can add periodic notifications in the Global, Workspace View, or Individual dimension based on your business requirements.

    • Global: You can add periodic notifications for unresolved governance issues across all DataWorks workspaces in the tenant.

    • Workspace View: You can add periodic notifications for unresolved governance issues in a specific workspace where you are a workspace administrator. In this dimension, you can select the workspace to which notifications are sent from the Workspace list.

      Note

Alibaba Cloud accounts and RAM users with the AliyunDataWorksFullAccess permission can select all workspaces.

After the configuration is complete, the specified recipients receive notifications about unresolved governance issues. The notification includes an overview of the issues and details from key dimensions such as compute, storage, and R&D. The specific metrics include:

    • Governance overview: Total number of unresolved issues, total number of tables involved, and total number of nodes involved.
