The Usage page displays the resource usage metrics in a workspace on a date. The page consists of the DataWorks Task Resource Usage, Resources Usage, Rankings of User Resource Usage, and Fluctuation Analysis areas. This allows you to learn resource usage at the earliest opportunity and properly use resources.
Permissions
To view resource usage in any workspace, you must meet one of the following requirements:
You have an Alibaba Cloud account.
You have created a Resource Access Management (RAM) user and the
AliyunDataWorksFullAccesspolicy is attached to the RAM user.You are a tenant administrator.
You are a tenant-level data governance administrator.
Other users can select only the workspaces to which they are added as the members of the workspaces.
Go to the Usage page
Go to the Data Asset Governance page.
Log on to the DataWorks console. In the top navigation bar, select the desired region. In the left-side navigation pane, choose . On the page that appears, click Go to Data Asset Governance.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose to go to the Usage page.
View the resource usage
You can view the resource usage of DataWorks tasks, the usage of computing and storage resources, and the trend of changes in computing and storage resources in the specified workspace on the specified date. This allows you to learn resource usage at the earliest opportunity and perform resource optimization based on your business requirements.
View and analyze resource changes
You can view the fluctuation of resource usage metrics, such as Computing Resource Consumption, Storage Resource Consumption, DataWorks Scheduling Resource Consumption, and DataWorks Batch Synchronization Consumption, in the selected workspace on the selected date. By default, the metrics whose fluctuating values are greater than 0 are displayed. You can sort nodes based on the metrics that you want to display and view the resources whose usage severely fluctuates. You can click a node name to view the details of the node.
View the rankings of users by resource usage
You can view the rankings of users by resource usage in the selected workspace on the selected date. The resource types include MaxCompute computing resources, MaxCompute storage resources, DataWorks periodic scheduling resources, and DataWorks batch synchronization resources. You can also click View Details in the lower-left corner of each tab to go to the corresponding page to view the details. For example, if you click View Details in the lower-left corner of the MaxCompute Computing Resources or MaxCompute Storage Resources tab, you can view the details of computing or storage resources.
