DataWorks provides the following advanced editions: Standard Edition, Professional Edition, and Enterprise Edition. You can purchase an advanced edition based on your business requirements. DataWorks advanced editions support only the subscription billing method. This topic describes the billing details of DataWorks advanced editions.

Precautions

  • If you have an overdue payment, the system sends you a notification. You must renew your subscription at the earliest opportunity to prevent service suspension.
  • The services that are deployed for DataWorks advanced editions vary based on the region. For more information, see Differences among DataWorks editions.
  • Only one DataWorks advanced edition can be purchased in a region at a time. You can purchase another edition in the same region only after the purchased edition expires and is released.

Edition upgrade

An advanced edition can be upgraded to a more advanced edition. You need to pay only the price difference for the remaining portion of the billing cycle.

Renewal

You can renew an advanced edition before it expires or within 360 hours after it expires. If you do not renew your advanced edition within 360 hours after it expires, the advanced features provided by the edition are disabled. Service suspension and downgrade

Alibaba Cloud sends expiration notifications to the mobile number and email address that are bound to your Alibaba Cloud account on the 8th, 12th, and 14th days before your DataWorks advanced edition expires.

If you do not renew your advanced edition within 15 days after it expires, the advanced features provided by the edition are disabled 15 days after the expiration, and the advanced edition is downgraded to Basic Edition. If you still need to use the advanced edition after the downgrade, go to the buy page of DataWorks advanced editions (subscription) to purchase the edition again.
