DataWorks provides four advanced editions: Standard Edition, Professional Edition, Enterprise Edition, and Ultimate Edition. You can choose the edition that is most suitable for your business needs. DataWorks advanced editions support the subscription billing method. This topic describes the billing details of DataWorks advanced editions.
Usage notes
- The system sends you a notification if you have an overdue payment. In this case,
you must complete the overdue payment at the earliest opportunity to avoid service
suspension.
If you have other questions, submit a ticket.
- The DataWorks services that are deployed for DataWorks advanced editions differ between regions. For more information, see Feature comparison among DataWorks editions.
- Only one DataWorks advanced edition can be purchased in a region at a time. You can purchase another edition in the same region only after the purchased edition expires and is released.

Upgrade
An advanced edition can be upgraded to a more advanced edition. You need to pay only the price difference for the remaining portion of the billing cycle.
Renewal
You can renew an advanced edition before it expires or within 360 hours after it expires. If you do not renew your advanced edition within 360 hours after it expires, its advanced features are disabled. Service suspension and downgrade
Alibaba Cloud sends expiration notifications to the mobile number and email address that are bound to your Alibaba Cloud account eight days, 12 days, and 14 days before your subscription to DataWorks advanced editions expires.
If you do not renew your advanced edition within 15 days after it expires, its advanced features are disabled 15 days after the expiration and the advanced edition is downgraded to Basic Edition. If you still need to use the advanced edition after the downgrade, go to the buy page of DataWorks advanced editions (subscription) to purchase it again.
