To use the Kingbase database with DataV-Board (data dashboard), it must first be added as a data source. This topic outlines the process for integrating a Kingbase database.
Prerequisites
Ensure you have the details of the Kingbase database instance you want to add.
Limits
Supports only Enterprise Edition or higher.
Add a data source through the intranet
Access the DataV console.
Navigate to the Workbench page, and click .
Select Kingbase from the Type dropdown menu.
Choose Intranet and select the region where your Kingbase database instance is located.
Enter the required database configuration details.

Description
Name
A custom name for the data source.
VPC ID
The ID of the VPC-connected instance. This VPC is where the Kingbase database instance is located.
VPC Instance ID
Optional: VPC database instance ID, VPC network connection address, or VPC network IP address.
Port
The port number set for the database.
Username
The username that is used to log on to the database.
Password
The password that is used to log on to the database.
Database
Custom input for the database name.
Once the database information is filled in, click OK. The system will test the connection automatically. If successful, the new data source will be listed.
ImportantIf you encounter an error message stating Access VPC instance fail during the connection test, try adding the suffix -1 to the Instance ID and test the connection again.
Add a data source through the internet
Access the DataV console.
On the Workbench page, click .
From the Type list, select Kingbase.
Choose Internet from the list.
Provide the necessary database configuration information.

Domain Name
The external network address used to access the Kingbase database instance.
Port
The port number set for the database.
Username
The username that is used to log on to the database.
Password
The password that is used to log on to the database.
Database
Automatically retrieve the database list or custom input for the database name.
After entering the database details, click OK. The system will conduct an automatic connection test. A successful test will result in the data source being added to the list.
ImportantShould the error message Access VPC instance fail appear during the test, try appending the suffix -1 to the Instance ID and attempt the connection test once more.

Utilize the data source by going to your project's editing page, adding widgets, and selecting the data source.
