With the increase in the number and richness of building materials for DataV products, the traditional component concept can no longer cover the concept of all building materials. This topic describes the meaning of the asset list and all the features it can implement.
Asset package source
In the All Assets drop-down list, all asset packages in your account are displayed. These displayed asset packs can be divided into three broad categories: 
Official: the asset package provided by DataV.
Third-party: asset packages provided or authorized by third-party companies and individuals. The
icon appears in the lower-left corner of the asset package. 
Custom: The
icon appears in the lower-left corner of an asset package that you customize or that is authorized by another user with the write permission. 
Switch an asset package
You can click All Assets above the asset list to go to the Asset List drop-down list. Then, you can switch between asset packages. 
Purchase an asset package
In the Asset Package drop-down list, if you have not purchased an asset package of this type, the Not Purchased icon appears on the right side of the asset package list. You cannot directly use an asset package that you have not purchased. You must switch to the asset package and click Buy to go to the buy page.
Add an asset package
In the Asset Package drop-down list, the Not Added icon appears on the right side of the asset package list. You cannot directly use an asset package that has not been added. You need to click Add to add the asset package as prompted before you can use it.
Asset display area retrieval classification
In the asset package list, click All Assets to view all assets. To help you better locate and view the required assets and reduce the cost of asset retrieval, the Assets page redefines the criteria for sorting out asset classifications. You can search for an asset by category or click the 
icon above the list to search for the asset. 
Asset content details
The asset list acts as a comprehensive panel that includes all build items. The contents of the asset list include: Componentsmaterials and models.
Assets of the Component type in the Assets panel include assets of the General Component typeFor more information, see Components.
In the Assets panel, assets of the Material type are added. For more information, see Material overview.
Model assets are added to the Assets panel. For more information, see Model overview.
All assets in the Assets panel can be added to Canvas Editor. You can perform various operations on assets and configure specific styles for assets. For more information about how to operate and configure assets in Canvas Editor, see Manage assets.
