You can mark assets that you do not need to list as temporarily withheld assets. Before you can list these assets in the asset catalog, you must change their status to quasi-asset. You can then list the assets and perform other operations, such as setting maintenance permissions.
Prerequisites
For table assets, metric assets, and dashboard assets: You have purchased the asset operation value-added service and enabled the asset operation module for the current tenant.
For API assets: You have purchased the asset operation value-added service and the data service feature.
To manage assets from Quick BI and DataWorks, you must first create the corresponding application systems and metadata collection tasks. For instructions, see Create and Manage Application Systems and Create and Manage Metadata Collection Tasks.
Permissions
Super administrators, operation administrators, and custom global roles with the Listing Management - Manage permission can create and manage temporarily withheld assets.
Operators of an application system and users with maintenance permissions can manage assets in their assigned application systems.
Procedure
On the Dataphin homepage, in the top navigation bar, choose Assets > Catalog Management.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose Manual Listing > an asset type, and then click the Temporarily Withheld Assets tab to open the Temporarily Withheld Assets page.
The temporarily withheld assets list displays information about the withheld assets, including Asset Name, Associated Technical Metrics, asset source, Owning Directory, Information Completeness, Withholding Time, Withholding Reason, and Operator.
asset source: Indicates the asset's origin. For example, the asset source is the Dataphin Data module for logical tables, a data service project for API assets, and a Quick BI workspace for Quick BI dashboards.
Information Completeness: Indicates whether the required properties of an asset are complete and valid.
(Optional) You can filter assets by asset source, BI Workspace/Directory, Owning Directory, Information Completeness, Metric Type, Withholding Time, Withholding Reason, and Operator. You can also filter by Deleted Assets (this option is not available for business metrics) or search for assets by using specific criteria.
In the Actions column for an asset, you can perform the following operations. These operations are available for all asset types. The following table uses a table asset as an example. You can select up to 10,000 assets for a single batch operation.

icon in the Actions column to view the asset's information. In the upper-right corner, you can select Hide Read-only Properties to focus on editable properties.Change to Quasi-asset
Click Change to Quasi-asset to change the asset's status to quasi-asset.
Set Maintenance Permissions
This operation is not supported for business metrics.
Single operation: Click Set Maintenance Permissions to assign maintenance personnel to the asset. These personnel are responsible for daily maintenance, such as modifying information and managing the asset's listing status.
Batch operation: At the bottom of the list, click Set Maintenance Permissions to add or modify maintenance personnel for multiple assets at once.
Modify: Replaces the existing maintenance personnel for the selected assets with the newly specified personnel.
Append: Adds the specified personnel to the existing maintenance team for the selected assets.
View Change History
Displays the change history for an asset over the last 30 days, including property and status changes, for traceability and auditing purposes.
Export Assets
At the bottom of the list, click Export Assets to export the selected assets in bulk. The system automatically skips assets for which the current user lacks maintenance permissions.
If you are exporting a large number of assets, file generation may take some time. You can view the export task details and download the file from the Batch Management > Batch Operation Records page.
If an asset has been deleted, you can only view it.
