This topic explains how to specify an object for exporting a publish package file in the source environment. This method is suitable for scenarios where objects with known changes need to be quickly exported. It is not recommended for exporting many objects.
Prerequisites
In the cross-tenant publishing settings, set up the publishing credentials, define the storage location for the deployment package, establish permission verification, and configure the approval process. For more information, see cross-tenant publishing settings.
The source environment has transitioned into maintenance mode to facilitate cross-tenant publishing. For detailed instructions, see maintain/upgrade Dataphin.
Permission description
Cross-tenant publishing users can specify objects for exporting publish package files.
Procedure
Log on to Dataphin with a cross-tenant publishing user account.
On the Dataphin homepage, select Management Center > Migration from the top menu bar.
In the navigation pane on the left, select Migration > Export Publish Package.
On the Export Publish Package page, click Create Publish Package.
On the Create Publish Package page, configure the parameters.
For Export Method, select Export Of Specified Objects.
Add Dependent Objects: Specifies whether to add dependent objects of the exported objects. If you select Yes, the system automatically adds the dependent objects. This ensures that the deployment package contains updates to the dependent objects, but the export takes longer. This feature is not supported for real-time nodes.
The parameters in the Basic Information and Export Information sections are configured the same way as for a full export publish package. For more information, see full export publish package.
Click Save And Next. In the Select Export Object step, select the objects to be exported. The display is consistent across different object types.
General Description
To quickly find specific objects for publication, you can use the Batch Search feature. In the Batch Search dialog box, enter the supported search items for the objects in batches, separating multiple objects with a carriage return. Up to 1000 objects can be entered for exact searches.

ImportantIf you set Add Dependent Objects to Yes and select a project that is attached to a Flink compute source, the system automatically adds the dependent Flink compute source to the deployment package. If you set Connection Information to Purge, all basic information and DPI engine configuration information of the Flink compute source are deleted. If you set Connection Information to Retain, only the file information (configuration file, krb5 file, and keytable file) of the Flink compute source is deleted. Other information is retained.
Selecting a real-time computing node does not automatically add the dependent project to the deployment package.
Selecting a metatable does not automatically add the dependent data source to the deployment package.
