You can export a release package for specific objects. This method is ideal for quickly exporting objects with known changes but is not recommended for exporting many objects. This topic describes how to export a release package for specific objects from a source environment.
Prerequisites
You have configured the cross-tenant release settings, including the release credential, storage location for the release package, permission verification, and approval settings. For more information, see Cross-tenant release settings.
The source environment is in maintenance mode for the cross-tenant release. For more information, see Maintain or upgrade Dataphin.
Limitations
When exporting the owner of a quality rule during a cross-tenant release, only the owner's individual account is exported.
Permissions
You must have the required permissions for cross-tenant release to export release packages for specific objects.
Procedure
Log on to Dataphin as a user with cross-tenant release permissions.
In the top navigation bar of the Dataphin homepage, choose Admin Center > Cross-Tenant Release.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose Cross-Tenant Release > Export Package.
On the Export Package page, click Create Package.
On the Create Package page, configure the parameters.
Set Export Method to Export by Specified Object.
Add Dependent Objects: Specify whether to include dependent objects. If you select Yes, the system automatically adds the dependencies of your selected objects to the release package. This ensures the package includes all necessary dependency updates, but the export process takes longer. Automatic dependency inclusion is not supported for real-time tasks.

Click Save and Next. In the Select Objects to Export step, select the objects to export. The page layout is consistent for all object types.
General instructions
To quickly find and select specific objects, click Batch Search. In the Batch Search dialog box, enter the search terms. To search for multiple objects, enter each search term on a new line. You can enter up to 1,000 terms. The search performs an exact match.

ImportantIf Add Dependent Objects is set to Yes and you select a project bound to a Flink compute source, the Flink compute source is automatically included. The Connection Information setting affects this exported compute source: Clear removes all basic and engine configuration information, while Retain removes only file information (such as configuration files, krb5 files, and keytab files) and keeps all other data.
Selecting a real-time task does not automatically add its dependent project to the release package.
Selecting a meta table does not automatically add its dependent data source to the release package.

Click the Add to Package icon in the Actions column for an object. Alternatively, select multiple objects and click the Add to Package button at the bottom of the page to add them in bulk.
Click Export Release Package to complete the release package export settings for the specified object.
Click Save Package. This creates a record in draft status on the package list page, which you can edit later.
Click Save and Preview. This creates a record in draft status and redirects you to the export preview page. Here, you can review the export configuration and details. To return to the editing page, click Back to Edit at the bottom of the page or click the Edit button next to the Basic Information or Export Information sections.
The export time varies depending on the amount of data and can range from several minutes to several hours.
