Monitor API call status in the production environment for a specified time period and project to quickly identify and resolve issues.
Limits
If your network is configured as a built-in gateway or as an Alibaba Cloud API Gateway with a dedicated instance and SLS mode enabled, you can view the Number of affected apps and Top 10 affected applications.
Permission description
-
Super administrator can view and manage API call status for all DataService Studio projects.
-

Service project administrator can view and manage API call status for the service projects they manage.
Introduction to the O&M monitoring page
By default, the O&M monitoring page displays API call status in the production environment for the past 10 minutes across all service projects linked to the current account. Super administrators, project administrators, and O&M users can use this view to quickly detect abnormalities. You can also customize the date range and select specific service projects for more targeted monitoring.
The O&M monitoring page provides the following data and configuration options:
-
View O&M overview: These sections display key metrics for a specified time period and service project, including the number of published and online APIs, API call rates, total calls, abnormal call rates, error rates, offline percentages, and the number of affected apps. Use this data to quickly assess overall and abnormal API call statuses.
-
View abnormal impact analysis: Displays the top 10 abnormal call times and top 10 affected applications (APPs), helping you identify APIs that cause abnormal impacts. You can then contact the API owner, check error codes, and configure alerts and traffic shaping.
-
View access trend analysis: Displays trends for abnormal calls and their impact. The abnormal call trend shows call times and abnormal call times within the time period to help analyze correlations. The abnormal impact trend shows abnormal API calls and affected APPs within the time period. For example, if few API calls are abnormal but many APPs are affected, those APIs have a wide impact and should be fixed promptly.
-
View API operation status: Provides API statistics and supports analysis of abnormal API impacts, alert configuration, and traffic shaping.
-
API impact analysis: Shows all applications calling a specific API and presents the top 10 affected apps in a column chart, providing a clear view of the API's reach and impact.
-
Configure API traffic shaping: Enables traffic control for APIs and applications.
-
Configure API alerts: Allows you to set monitoring alert rules for APIs to quickly detect and manage issues.
