Dataphin:Offline mode runtime parameter configuration

Last Updated:Jan 21, 2025

When developing tasks for real-time processing, configuring runtime parameters is essential to manage execution behavior and optimize performance. Parameters such as the JobManager's memory history size and the TaskManager's slot timeout are critical. This topic provides guidance on configuring runtime parameters for offline mode.

Procedure

  1. For detailed instructions, refer to the referenced document and navigate to the Offline Mode configuration page for real-time tasks.

  2. Within the Resource Configuration section, set the Resource Configuration parameters for the task's offline mode.

The steps to configure runtime parameters for offline mode are consistent across different compute engines. The illustration below demonstrates this process using the Ververica Flink compute engine as an example.

    Note
    • The FusionInsight engine does not support custom parameters and only uses the system's default settings.

    • To apply uniform task parameters across all compute tasks in a project, consider setting them globally during project creation. For further information, consult the referenced document.

    • BLINK_SQL runtime parameters offer recommended configurations at high, medium, and low levels to accommodate various business requirements, allowing for quick adaptation.

  3. To confirm your settings, simply OK.
