    Dataphin:Notification settings

    Notification settings help you receive task messages promptly so that you can respond quickly.

    Limits

    Messages cannot be sent if contact methods such as email or DingTalk group messages are not enabled in the message channel. To configure message channels, see configure channel settings.

    Permission description

    Super administrators and system administrators can view and configure settings.

    Notification settings description

    • Flow Control: Notifications for approval processes such as data standard approval, release approval, and data download approval.

    • Permission Management: Notifications for permission expiration, upcoming expiration reminders, and permission revocation.

    • Resource Usage: Notifications about resource usage statistics, including data processing units, data standards, and artificial intelligence for IT operations.

    • Tenant Management: Notifications about changes to tenant settings.

    • System Messages: Notifications about system abnormalities, such as metadata retrieval issues.

    Procedure

    1. On the Dataphin home page, click the image icon to open the Notification dialog box.

    2. Click View All Unread Messages> at the bottom of the dialog box to navigate to the Notification Center.

    3. In the left-side navigation pane, select Message > Notification Settings to open the Notification Settings page.

    4. On the Notification Settings page, select the appropriate channels for notifications related to Flow Management, Permission Management, Resource Usage, Tenant Management, and System Messages. Options include Internal Message, Email, Dingtalk Group Message, Lark Group Message, Wecom Group Message, and Text Message channels.

      Note

      • When initiating approval nodes or performing approval operations, the configured notification method alerts the relevant personnel.

      • You must enable Email, DingTalk group messages, Lark group messages, and WeCom group messages in configure channel settings before setting them up. Choose the option that best fits your business needs.

      • Text message notifications are available only when the text message channel uses Custom Short Message Service.

    5. Click OK to save the notification settings.
