Upon enabling the Services module in Dataphin, you can create APIs by managing the metadata of one or more physical tables through a service unit. To utilize a service unit owned by another user for API creation, you must first obtain the necessary permissions.
Apply for service unit permissions
Navigate to the Management Center from the top menu bar on the Dataphin home page with a single click.
Use the provided diagram to reach the Service Unit Permission Application page.

On the Service Unit Permission Application page, select the desired service unit object and set the permissions accordingly.

Sequentially select a service project, a service unit group, and a service unit.
Permission Configuration
Permission Type
Choose between Usage Permission and Development Permission as supported by the system.
For API creation using the service unit, select Usage Permission.
To create, edit, publish, or view APIs using the service unit, select Development Permission.
Permission Account
The default setting is Personal account, which is non-editable.
Validity Period
Permissions are granted for an indefinite period by default and cannot be modified.
Reason for Application
Provide the rationale for requesting permissions.
Click Submit to send your request.
In the Task Center, you can monitor the approval status of tasks you have initiated. For further details, see View My Initiated Tasks or .
Release service unit permissions
On the Service Unit Permissions page, click the Actions column followed by Return.

In the Confirm Return Permission dialog box, click OK to proceed.
