    Parameter

    Description

    Datasource

Select the data source for which you want to apply for permissions. To create a data source, see Data Source Management.

    Permission Type

Select the permission type to apply for. Supported types are Read-through, Write-through, and Execute.

    • Read-through: The permission to read data from the source storage using a synchronization component.

    • Write-through: The permission to write data to the destination storage using a synchronization component.

    • Execute: The permission to execute database SQL nodes and call Data Service APIs for the data source. This permission does not override the read-through or write-through permissions.

    Account Type

As needed, apply for data source permissions for a User Account, Project Account, and User Group at the same time, or apply for them individually.

    • User Account: An individual account used for standard modeling and code development in the development environment. If you select User Account, set the permission expiration time.

    • Project Account: A project-level account used for recurring production nodes to prevent a strong dependency between the production environment and an individual. If you select Project Account, select the associated project.

    • User Group: Used to apply for permissions for all members of a user group at the same time. If you select User Group, set the user group and the permission expiration time.

    Reason For Application

Enter a brief reason for the application. The reason can be up to 128 characters in length.

  4. Click OK to complete the application for data source permissions.
