This topic explains how to request, renew, and return permissions for variables.
Prerequisites
A group has been established within the global variable. For additional details, refer to Create a global variable.
Request variable permissions
On the Dataphin home page, click Management Center in the top menu bar.
Refer to the following figure to navigate to the Request Variable Permissions dialog box.

In the Request Variable Permissions dialog box, set the following parameters:

Variable
Choose the variable for which you are requesting permissions.
Account Type
Account Type offers options for both User Account and Project Account. Choosing Project Account requires you to select the corresponding project, whereas selecting User Account necessitates setting a permission expiration time.
User Account is intended for data modeling and development within the development environment, with the resulting data being published to the production environment.
Project Account is designated for managing and executing tasks in the production environment.
Reason For Application
Provide the reason for the permission request, limited to 128 characters.
Click OK to submit your variable permission request.
View variable permission list
The variable permission list displays both the In Effect and Out Of Effect permissions information. To view the details of the variable application record, refer to the or Task Center.
In effect list

Area | Description |
①Filter and search area | Use the filter and search area to perform a fuzzy search with variable name keywords or to filter by Expiring Within Seven Days and Permission Account. |
②List area | Displays details such as Data Object, Permission Account, Valid Until, and Permission Source. Additionally, you can execute Renewal and Return operations for the variable.
