Renew your instance through renewal management if it has expired or is nearing expiration.
Renewal policy
After the Dataphin service expires, to avoid affecting your normal use, it is recommended to complete the renewal within 15 days. During this period, the system will pause all tasks but will retain your data and resources. If you do not complete the renewal within 15 days, the system will clear all tasks and you will not be able to continue using Dataphin. For more information, see the expiration reminder and shutdown policy--semi-managed.
NoteConfiguration changes are not supported during the renewal process.
If auto-renewal was selected at purchase, only the Dataphin software will renew automatically. You must renew underlying resources manually as follows:
Log on to the Compute Nest Management Console with your Alibaba Cloud account.
In the left-side navigation pane, click Service Instances. On the Service Instances page, select the My Service Instances tab, then the Private Service tab. Choose the destination instance to view its product page.
On the product page, select the Resource tab. Click Renew in the Actions column for the resource you wish to renew.

Manual renewal
Renewal is only supported for the originally purchased configuration.
Log on to the Alibaba Cloud official website with the primary account.
Hover over Products, then over Big Data Computing in the left-side navigation pane, and click Data Development And Service under the Dataphin category.
On the Dataphin product page, select Management Console/Activate Now (semi-managed Edition) to access the Dataphin Management Console.
The Dataphin Management Console offers different renewal options depending on your instance's status.

If your instance is active, click Renew next to the instance lifetime information, or click Renew next to Activate Other Regions.
If your instance has expired but is within the 15-day grace period, click Dataphin Workspace under Renew.
Alternatively, you can access the Renew page through the following steps:
Click Cost > Renewal Management to enter the Renewal Management page.
On the Expenses And Costs page, click Subscription Orders under Resource Renewal in the left-side navigation pane.
The Resource Renewal page defaults to the Manual Renewal tab. Click Renew in the Actions column for the Dataphin instance.
On the Dataphin Renewal page, select a Renewal Duration such as 1 Month,1 Year,2 Years, or 3 Years.
Please carefully review the purchase information and read the Dataphin Intelligent Data Construction and Administration Service-Level Agreement (Semi-managed) before proceeding. Ensure all details are correct, then click "Intelligent Data Construction and Management Service Agreement" to confirm.
Click Buy Now to complete the purchase. Once payment is successful, the renewal process is finalized.
Auto-renewal
Auto-renewal setup does not trigger immediate renewal. It specifies the renewal cycle, effective from the next day. Deductions for renewal begin 9 days before expiration and continue daily until successful or until 1 day before the resource expires.
If your resource instance is set to expire the following day, auto-renewal will not take place. Please ensure to manually renew it.
Click Cost > Renewal Management to enter the Renewal Management page.
On the Expenses And Costs page, click Subscription Orders under Resource Renewal in the left-side navigation pane.
The Resource Renewal page defaults to the Manual Renewal tab. Select the Dataphin instance you wish to set up for auto-renewal.
Click Actions for the chosen instance, then select Enable Auto-renewal.
On the Enable Auto-renewal page, choose the desired auto-renewal cycle and confirm by clicking Enable Auto-renewal.
Under the Auto-renewal tab, you can view the auto-renewal status of your instances.
To modify or cancel auto-renewal, click Renew,Modify Auto-renewal,Do Not Renew, or Resume Manual Renewal as needed.
