    You can lease a Data Transport Micro device either for a single time or for a long term. The data migration process varies with lease methods.

    Important

    You can lease a Data Transport Micro device only in regions within the Chinese mainland.

    • Migrate data by using a device leased for a single time

      • All types of Data Transport devices support leases for a single time. They can be used to migrate data between data centers and Alibaba Cloud Object Storage Service (OSS). The lease term varies with device models and sales modes.

    • Migrate data by using a device leased for a long term

      • Only Data Transport Micro devices support leases for a long term. Data Transport Micro devices apply to a long-time data acquisition and data uploading to the cloud. For example, they are suitable for uploading data to the cloud in scenarios such as autonomous driving, factories, and hospitals. The lease term must be three months or longer.
