Last Updated:Mar 28, 2025

Database Autonomy Service (DAS) provides the lock analysis feature to view and diagnose the most recent deadlock in a database instance. This topic describes how to use the lock analysis feature.

Prerequisites

  • If your database instance runs PolarDB-X 2.0, the major version of the instance must be 5.4.13 or later.

  • Your database instance is connected to DAS and is in the Normal Access state. For more information, see Connect a database instance to DAS.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the DAS console.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Intelligent O&M Center > Instance Monitoring.

  3. On the page that appears, find the database instance that you want to manage and click the instance ID. The instance details page appears.

  4. In the left-side navigation pane of the instance details page, click Lock Analysis.

  5. On the Lock Analysis page, view or diagnose the detected deadlocks.

    • Click Diagnose in the upper-left corner to check whether the current database instance has deadlocks.

    • Specify a time range to view the diagnostic result.

Click View Details in the Details column to view the detailed diagnostic result.
