From May to December 2024, the billing data of Database Autonomy Service (DAS) for specific database instances was not recorded due to link transformation. As a result, billing for DAS did not work properly. This issue is expected to be resolved at 00:00 on December 15, 2024. After the resolution, Alibaba Cloud resumes billing for DAS Enterprise Edition V0 and V1.

From May to December 2024, the billing data of DAS for specific database instances was not recorded due to link transformation. The affected instances are ApsaraDB RDS for SQL Server and ApsaraDB RDS for PostgreSQL instances for which DAS Enterprise Edition V0 and V1 (SQL Explorer and Audit) are enabled. As a result, billing for DAS did not work properly. This issue is expected to be resolved at 00:00 on December 15, 2024. After the resolution, Alibaba Cloud resumes billing for DAS (SQL Explorer and Audit).

Involved engine types
Several ApsaraDB RDS for SQL Server and ApsaraDB RDS for PostgreSQL instances are affected in regions such as China (Qingdao), US (Virginia), US (Silicon Valley), Germany (Frankfurt), UK (London), and Indonesia (Jakarta).
Involved users are notified by using internal messages.
Impacts
Billing for DAS (SQL Explorer and Audit) returns to normal. The billing data before billing resumption will be reported within 30 business days after billing resumption, and a supplementary bill will be generated. You can view the billing information in the Expenses and Costs console.
Make sure that your account balance is sufficient to avoid negative impacts on your services.
Before reporting, an adjustment notification will be sent to the affected accounts. Pay attention to the second notification sent by using messages or other channels.
