This topic describes how to upgrade a file gateway in the Cloud Storage Gateway (CSG) console.
Prerequisites
A file gateway has been created. For more information, see Create a file gateway.
Background information
If the current specification of your gateway no longer meets your business requirements, you can upgrade it. A higher specification provides increased read/write bandwidth, supports more shares, and offers additional features.
Upgrading gateway specifications will cause temporary business interruptions. Exercise caution when performing this action.
