    This topic describes why a share cannot be created for a cross-zone high-availability (HA) file gateway.

    You have not configured virtual IP addresses for the cross-zone HA file gateway. To attach cache disks or create shares for a cross-zone HA file gateway, you must configure virtual IP addresses. For more information, see Configure virtual IP addresses.
