Knative Serving is the core component of Knative. It provides serverless workload management, including serverless deployment, version management, canary releases, and pod autoscaling based on resource requests. When no traffic is processed, Knative Serving scales pods to zero. Upgrade Knative Serving during off-peak hours to benefit from new features and bug fixes.
For Knative Serving release notes, see Knative release notes.
