Container Compute Service:Delete a cluster

Last Updated:Sep 16, 2025

This topic describes how to delete unused clusters in the Container Compute Service console.

Precautions

Before you delete a cluster, manually clear all workloads, such as stateless applications, stateful applications, tasks, and scheduled tasks. Otherwise, the cluster deletion may fail. For more information about workloads, see Workloads.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the ACS console. In the left-side navigation pane, click Clusters.

  2. (Optional) On the Clusters page, find the target cluster. In the Actions column, choose More > Disable Deletion Protection. In the Disable Deletion Protection dialog box, turn off the Deletion Protection switch and click OK.

If deletion protection is not enabled for your cluster, skip this step.

  3. On the Clusters page, find the target cluster. In the Actions column, choose More > Delete.

  4. In the Delete Cluster and Associated Resources pane, select the resources to delete and click Delete. In the dialog box that appears, enter the name of the cluster, select the I Have Read The Information And Want To Delete The Cluster check box, and then click Confirm Deletion.
