You can initiate network probes using HTTP, Ping, DNS, MTR (My traceroute), and Traceroute from carrier detection points in different regions. This lets you determine how your detection target is accessed from different network environments.
Background information
For information about the error codes and status codes of instant detections, see Error codes and status codes.
For information about the metrics and process of instant detections, see Metrics.
Procedure
Log on to the Cloud Monitor 2.0 console, and select a workspace. In the left navigation pane, choose .
On the Synthetics Insights navigation bar, choose Synthetic Tests.
On the Synthetic Tests page, configure the parameters on the HTTP Tests, PING Tests, DNS Tests, MTR, or Traceroute tab.
On the HTTP Tests, PING Tests, or DNS Tests tab, you can click Advanced Configuration to configure advanced parameters. For more information about the advanced parameters, see Advanced settings.
NoteMTR is a network diagnostic tool that integrates PING and Traceroute features.
Enter a valid domain name or IP address for the selected detection protocol, such as
https://www.aliyun.com.Click Test Now.
On the View detailed results tab, view the detection result of each carrier detection point.
NoteTo compare the detection results of two URLs, you can use Comparative Test.
