Resource plans are a subscription billing option that provides discounted rates for basic Cloud Monitor. After you enable pay-as-you-go billing and purchase a resource plan, usage beyond your free quota is deducted from the resource plan.

Important

  • You must enable the pay-as-you-go billing method for basic Cloud Monitor before you can purchase a resource plan.

  • Starting at 10:00:00 on September 26, 2024 (UTC+8), you can purchase resource plans for basic Cloud Monitor. For more information, see Announcement: Basic Cloud Monitor Billing Adjustment.

Text message alert resource plan

  • 1,000 messages: 6.4 USD

  • 5,000 messages: 32 USD

  • 10,000 messages: 61 USD

  • 100,000 messages: 570 USD

Assume that you have enabled pay-as-you-go for basic Cloud Monitor. At 13:00:00 on June 1, 2023, you use 600 text message alerts and then purchase a resource plan for 10,000 text message alerts. After using another 5,000 alerts, the remaining quota is calculated as follows:

Remaining free quota before purchase = (1,000 messages - 600 messages) = 400 messages

Remaining resource plan quota = 10,000 messages - (5,000 messages - 400 messages) = 5,400 messages

Note

The free quota for text message alerts is 1,000 messages per month.

Phone call alert resource plan

  • 500 calls: 10.6 USD

  • 1,000 calls: 21.2 USD

  • 5,000 calls: 88 USD

  • 10,000 calls: 176 USD

Assume that you have enabled pay-as-you-go for basic Cloud Monitor. On June 1, 2023, you purchase a resource plan for 5,000 phone call alerts and use 5,500 phone call alerts. The resource plan is depleted, and the remaining 500 calls are billed on a pay-as-you-go basis.

Note

Starting from April 27, 2024, you are not charged for unanswered phone calls.
